Lockbox Information


Add Supra eKEY® software to a supported Android™, Apple® or BlackBerry® smart phone and turn your key into a lockbox key. Check out the current list of mobile devices that are compatible with the eKEY software system.  (BlackBerry® 10, Windows Mobile® and Google® Project Fi  phones are currently not supported.)


The Supra eKEY service charge is $9.63 per month and Supra charges a $50 activation fee for new contracts. The monthly service fee is paid directly to Supra via credit card and will continue until you cancel your eKEY contract in writing, even if you are an inactive member. Outstanding balances owed to Supra must be paid in full before any key reactivation. Current Supra eKEY contract holders can manage your payment information in your eKEY App.   For help with eKEY billing issues, please call Supra at: 1-877-699-6787.

Supra Non-Member Access

*Only qualifying non-members without access to Supra are eligible for non-member access.  Any member who has access to the Supra system, whether they choose to use it or not, is not eligible for non-member access.*

​SCAAR eKEY holders may grant temporary access to specific lockboxes in their inventory to qualifying non-members.

Qualifying non-members who receive temporary access to a specific lockbox from a SCAAR Member via a text message, would need to follow the directions to download the app and register. Non-members receive this access and text message from the SCAAR Member granting temporary access, and not from the SCAAR Board Office.

To Obtain an eKEY

  • Call the Board Office at 320-253-7149 or email to schedule an appointment.  Supra eKEYS are not assigned over the phone, even if you had a eKEY in the past.  You must come in to the SCAAR Office for an eKEY. Appointments are scheduled from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
  • Download the free Supra eKEY application from your smart phone application provider prior to the appointment.
  • Bring your phone with the loaded application and form of payment to set up automatic billing with Supra.  The supra eKEY application will be authorized at your appointment.
  • New SCAAR Members cannot obtain an eKEY until after their applications are processed and all dues are paid.
  • Please do not schedule showings until you have an authorized eKEY.

Supra eKEY Updating Information

The eKEY software expires each night at midnight. The eKEY software automatically updates each day by connecting to the Supra network using your smartphone’s cellular or WiFi service.  In order for an update to occur, your smart phone needs to be turned on and in cell or WiFi coverage, and you need to be in good standing with the Board Office and with Supra.

If your eKEY software did not update, the next time you open the Supra application, it will attempt to update.  You can also perform a manual update if you are in cell coverage by selecting the Update button.  If you are not in cell coverage, you can obtain an Update Code by going to and log on to SupraWEB or by calling the KIM voiceline at 1-888-968-4032.  For technical service, call Supra at 1-877-699-6787.

*NEW* Supra eKEY 5.0 Applications on the Android System require your Location Services (GPS) on your Smartphone to be enabled for the eKEY 5.0 App to function.  Location Services can be accessed in the Settings of your Android Smartphone.

Obtaining an Authorization Code for current eKEY users:

  • Download the eKEY Application from your application provider
  • Launch the eKEY App
  • Select Activate eKEY App.
  • Enter your email address or phone # Supra has on file
  • Enter your 4 digit eKEY Pin
  • Click Submit
  • The Authorization Code is emailed or texted to the user.

You can also call the Board Office at 320-253-7149 to obtain an Authorization Code if you are a current eKEY user or log on to SupraWeb to obtain an Authorization Code. Upon successful entry of the code, your eKEY will update.

Key Reciprocity

In January 2009, Supra implemented the “Auto-Coop” for Supra users in MN.  Your eKEY should automatically update for the following Associations:

  • St Cloud
  • Twin Cities
  • Rochester
  • Mankato
  • Duluth
  • Alexandria  (With the most updated version of the eKEY App)

Supra iBox BT LE (Bluetooth) Lockbox Information

  1. Supra Lockbox Obtain Key Instructions:
  2. Turn on your Bluetooth function in your smartphone.
  3. If you are using an Android smartphone, turn on your Location Services (GPS).
  4. In your eKEY App, click on Obtain Key.
  5. Type in your pin number.
  6. Push up on the key container to turn on lockbox.  A red blinking light will indicate it is on.
  7. The eKEY Application will unlock the key container.
  1. Supra Lockbox open Shackle Instructions:
  2. Turn on your Bluetooth function in your smartphone.
  3. If you are using an Android smartphone, turn on your Location Services (GPS).
  4. In your eKEY App, click on Open Shackle.
  5. Select A Reason in the Dropdown Box.
  6. Type in the shackle code.
  7. Click on the Begin button.
  8. Push up on the key container to turn on lockbox.  A red blinking light will indicate it is on.
  9. The eKEY Application will unlock shackle. Push down on the shackle and lift up to remove.

Ordering Supra iBox BT LE Lockboxes
If you would like to purchase a lockbox, complete the iBOX BT LE order form and return it to the Board Office.  We will program the lockboxes and call you when they are ready to be picked up.  Lockboxes are $102 +tax each and need to be paid for when they are picked up.

Transferring Supra iBox BT LE Lockbox Ownership (SCAAR Members only)
Ownership of Lockboxes can only be transferred by completing aLockbox Ownership Transfer Form and submitting it to the Board Office. The signature of the agent that is listed in the Supra System as the owner of the iBox is needed on the form in order to transfer ownership.
Shackle codes can be changed by using that function in your eKEY Application.
